Could do with a more interesting background, perhaps?
=====

I love the Blackbird.
=====
Decent modelling, but the background could use some smoothing to make it look a
little more cloudlike.

My favorite plane.

=====
I don't know if it's just this monitor, but the image does appear to be too
dark. the sun behind the camera and some reflection in the plane's texture
would have been better, I think. By the way, the sky texture is wonderful.
Perhaps an island in the ocean as well.

=====

Nice clouds and exhaust.

Some surface details of the plane (panels, hatches, etc.) would greatly
improve the image.

Your cloud distribution is good. Never make vertically distributed clouds! :-)

=====
I don't like it. It needs to look photo-realistic. Pay more attention to the
details.

=====
Good atmospheric image.

=====
The best thing in this scene is the sea/sky. The way they blend into each other
is
very good, and many people would have had bigger waves in the sea, just to get
a recognisable reflection of the sky. What you have done is much better, I
think.
As for the model, I think you made a bad choice. Making something that is
basically
dull black in clour look interesting or realistic is hard. The image maps are
well done,
although there need to be more of them. I'm amazed you used paint brush. There
are much better programs out there, even free ones.

The view of the model is a bit unoriginal. The 3/4 angle, showing the front and
left
of the object must be one of the most common views around. Yes it gives a good
idea of the overall shape and design of the aircraft object, but is a bit dull,
to
say the least. I think the halo afterburners are probably nice, but I can't see
them!
Why not show a rear view of the aircraft, perhaps spiralling down into the sea!

It's a great first contribution. The model is good, the environment is very
good
 (This is so much better than the background to 'defender'!) The lighting is
not
brilliant, although it certainly works for the background, it is a little to
dim,
(remember we are looking at a black object). There is nothing wrong with using
many lightsources in an outdoor scene, just because there is only one sun in
reality. If this were real there would be light bouncing of the clouds and
water,
all sorts of subtle things that POV won't do for you, so go ahead and so
whatever
makes it look 'right'.

Keep on tracing!

The Avro Arrow was better get over it.

=====
nice main model, but you need more of a backdrop

=====
Mach III?

=====
Differenced Bez pathces huh? hmmmmmm. . .

=====
A height-field and better lighting would have done wonders for this image.
On it's own it's good. With a little work it would have produced the
coveted "Cool" response from the viewer. :)

=====
Not bad, but could use a little more work. A few more objects, or some more
detail on the blackbird would have been nice.

=====
Textures could've been fiddled with more on the plane and much easier way to
make the plane would have been CSG's : .

=====
The environment (sky and ocean) is particularly interesting. It looks almost
perfectly like dusk. (the ocean would be a little bright though) The SR71 is
a supurb subject. Just to nitpick: the cockpit is a little far back, and the
fuselage is a little short. (those were the most noticeable to me)

=====
You might want to work on the clouds some.

=====
The shape of the plane is simple but nice. The sky is well done.

=====
Modelling seems to be well done, even without great amounts of detail. The
clouds could
use some work, as they seem to bland.

=====
 Concept lacks orginality but good use of different colors and shades for the
backgroound as well as good techincal detail in the US symbols..

=====
nice plane! you could have added some detail to the plane and the background
but overall it's great. keep it up!
note - next time try to think of a more original idea. with a theme like flight
you're bound to see many airplanes.

=====
A lovely scene too. Goes to show that simple images can also be very
effective.

=====

The SR-71 typifies flight in the extreme; however a better model would have
made it nicer.

=====
Great background, nice moody pic. Dimensions of the plane are off a bit, but
it's a great modelling effort nonetheless. Love the afterburner exhaust.
