=====
The perspective looks funny. The fallen figure looks larger than the flying
one.
=====
A little to dark, and the human's figures look too stiff.

=====
A bit dark. Nice modfelling on the feathered wings. What are those doohickies
sticking out of the water???
=====

The wings of Icarus were made of wax remember. They melted.

=====
some foreground light on the main subjects would help

=====
Startlingly good human figures. I like it.

=====
Most complete interpretion of Ikarus's fall!

=====

The sky is wonderful as is the expression on Icarus' face.

The splashes are a nice touch, too.

=====
Excellent. Kicks the crap out of the daedelous/castle picture. You payed
attention when reading the topic for this competition. Thank you. High scores
all around.

=====
The Sun really adds to this picture -- very clever use of wood texture.

=====
Interesting design. You used several design methods that I would never have
thought
of. I really like the pose of Icarus.

=====
Could have used more fill lighting. Although the sun looked GREAT, it was hard
to see the subject matter.

=====
You just need to put the same work you laboured creating the arms also on the
human
legs and all vistiges of "the wooden figure" look would almost have vanished. A
valiant effort.

=====

lACKS THE DETAILS OF OTHERS IN THIS CONTEST
BUT HAS A WONDERFUL CONCEP
=====
good image but a bit plain. extreme camera angle, lens flare, or exagerated
poses could add to the image

=====

A more traditional intpretation of the Icarus legend.

=====
Flying dolls. Human figures are the last great frontier for ray tracing to
conquer. Even Toy Story didn't do very well in that area. The sun is nice
and ominous and dominating--it's just the figures that spoil it. And what are
those two things in the water? Ducks?

=====
Very nice modelling, lighting and colors
