===== From agage@mines.edu: Nice racks, cues, and balls. Wall panelling in back is good. ===== From jjanger@mail.cspp.edu: At first glance, this looks like just another ray traced image. Be thanks to the text file, it takes on a whole new depth. The attention to detail and obvious effort at making a clear and concise image shows. The small details and clear thinking make for a rewarding experience. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Some details nearly ruin an otherwise very nice picture. Lighting is quite disappointing: flat in the room, and to strong on the white ball. And I could not figure out why the questick is so complex. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: No comments : I can't close my mouth! ===== From bill.marrs@pureatria.com: That's a sweat set-up... ===== From libelle@webbwerks.com: Well done! (of course, when we play, we play slop, so gaussian probabilities come into it) ===== From sonya_roberts@geocities.com: Nice - the writing on the board is particularly realistic, prob. since you actually wrote it and didn't just use a "handwritten" font. I like how you've made so many of the objects as reusable plugins. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Superb modelling and realism. Really, really well done. ===== From cfusner@enter.net: Ah yes, pool. The quinessential game of physics. My first impression was that this made it a bit of a cliche, but I liked the story about the physics professor enough that I gave it slightly above average marks for originality anyway. As for techincal, absolutely awesome! An Artist who is not afraid to use complex scenes, and high order primitives (superellispoids, lathes) to their best advantage. And especially congratuations on the green felt texture. Must grab the source and check how you did that! Splendid! ===== From alex@astro.queensu.ca: looks great. Might want to make the beer bottles more translucent over opaque. ===== From SSchanevil@aol.com: My compliments on the realism. Impressive beer bottles, pool balls and racks. I also really like the wall. ===== From marvil@algonet.se: I like the beer bottles! And the idea is good. I think I recall myself doing something similar... :-) ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: Billards is also one of my favourite topics; really nice this one! Looks like a winning shot. I especially like the scribbling on the blackboard. ===== From web_user@async249-104.async.duke.edu: Notable for modelling, composition, lighting
