===== From spanky@wpi.edu: Damn those gemstones are OUTSTANDING!!!!! ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: The textual description of this image tells us that it is a giant's jewel box, however, there is nothing in the image itself that "tells" us that without reading the description. ===== From denny1@home.com: Perhaps a nit, but the wouldn't the necklaces hanging from the peg have sagged a bit so they're not perfectly circular? Even with a thick metal thread, there would be some flexibility. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Too verbose in your text. Also sound off-topic to me. ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: Really enjoyed learning the techniques you used for the gemstones and pearls. ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: I like the object, I am not sure what it is, on the right with the gold chain best. Also nice job with the copyright note. For improvement I suggest trying a wood grain texture for the walls. ===== From houston.graphics@iname.com: I like the gems, and the necklace in front. I don't like the wood texture of the box, it's too reflective. There doesn't seem to be anything to suggest this is a Giants jewelry box, maybe if there were an object of normal size it would look more like "Land of the Giants". ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Good concept. ===== From clem@dhol.com: The modelling isn't bad, but the composition needs work. The gold texture works pretty well, as do the cut stones. The black opal has "pigments", but it needs "iridescence", as do the pearls to a lesser degree. The box detracts from the scene. The reflectivity idea is ok, but the walls really need some proper wood or other texturing under the reflections. I like the chains. Some sort of satin cushion (satin for the reflections) in the bottom of the box would help both the appearance and the internal logic of the image. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: A well done and visually interesting image - the jewels in particular are great - but I don't see what makes this a giant's jewelbx rather than an ordinary one, so the connection to topic seems very vague. A velvet floor instead of a shiny one would have been a nice touch. ===== From jull43@ij.net: tis mine to be sure the software will shoe me stats and such. ===== From r@209.155.62.50: some of the effects described seem not to make it through compression, or something
