===== From denny1@home.com: Way, way, way too much compression in the jpg image. Nice use of matrix, not many people use it. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Artistic merit ruined by ugly pixelation or whatever that color distortion is. ===== From karl@pemail.net: The compression ratios you used when saving as JPEG are too high, as you have introduced a lot of artifacts into the final picture ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: It's nice to have a small file to download, but either you've way to low in the quality setting of the JPEG conversion or there is an artistic touch that does not agree with me. ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: It looks nice, but you really shouldn't have compressed the image so much -- it ended up looking really blocky. ===== From rguillard@claranet.fr: Could have been better provided you wouldn't have used such a high JPG compression rate (less than 16 Kb for a 800*600 image!!!!!!!) Hey the limit is 250 Kb not 15 Kb ! I can hardly believe you had a look at your image before submitting it ! Tell you what i think, even with a lower jpg comp. I'm not sure I would have really appreciated your pic despite an interresting concept. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: We looked at the real image on your web page so we knew what you wanted to produce. Interesting concept. ===== From gshaw@monotix.co.za: Version on your web page was used. Bet you won't forget jpeg settings again . It's not immediatly clear that the scene the mirror reflects is not in the room. It would have aided the picture if we could see that the mirror does not reflect the reality of the room. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: Nice subtle wallpaper texture. (And yes, I voted on the replacement image, not the low-quality jpeg.) ===== From jull43@ij.net: I just don't get it. IF this is the wrong side of the mirror and the other is the right side ... but still just doesn't seem to be anything at all. ===== From r@209.155.62.50: Bummer about the compression. Apart from the candle, is there any difference between the two rooms?
