What I like about this image is that you did not attempt to create a scene that
was inherently dramatic or exciting. It is a room. But when one recognizes
the pictures on the wall, it becomes more than just another room. I know that
you went to pains to say that this was just an illustration of the chamber
where Anne Frank wrote and lived, but I wonder about the historical accuracy of
things like the lamp next to the bed. I would have liked to give more points
for technique, but the distortion of the image bothered me; it doesn't take
much to narrow the field of a POV camera, and I think that it helps if there
are objects near the corners.

Good lighting, I love the caustics. Curtain is good, too. But why is light
coming out from beneath the bed?

Beautiful! Wonderful texture on the walls, although I don't think it works so
well on the paper. The opening on the pillow is a bit too uniform, isn' it?

From jull43@ij.net:
At her death of a typhus epidemic in Bergen-Belsen in
1945 she was 14. In 1942, 11 or 12. There is no indication
in her diary of :"knowing" what the camps were. The family
was initially sent to Auschwitz and then evacualed to B-B
to save them from the Russians, being held responsible
for their (all inmates) safety by Washington.

The "rainbow" is sort of gratuitous without an object to
generate it as are the variations in lighting on the wall. I
think I see a "gooseneck" lamp in the background. I have
never seen such a lamp save post war where they were a
bit of a fad from a war time conduit pipe invention.

Other than that the bed is quite impressive.

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:
The lighting is rather confusing, although I can see a bedside lamp, no light
seems to come from it and it casts a hard shadow. The brighter patches on the
left wall are on very unlikely places like there were some spotlights on the
right side out of shot lighting it.
Also the whole image is very grainy. If this is caused by the area light
sources, a higher oversampling will cure this. And 3 hours does not seem too
long.

Great curtains. Pillow looks too stiff.

A very moving and evocative image. Nice texture for the textiles.
