I like the up lighting

From english@spiritone.com:
Good lighting. It looks very artificial, kind of like when
they place flood lights on the pyramids...

lighting is too harsh... but pillars look warn...

From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
I don't like the 'natural' lit temple in the background, but the foreground is
pretty good.
I especially like the run down joints between the stones that form the columns.
The different degradations are very well done.
I like the head of the column on the right.

From jouni@mikrobitti.fi:
Some JPEG artifacting in the sky, especially in the cloud. I'm slightly
bothered by the high contrast of dim- and well-lit areas of the image.
For example, the very well lit spot before the temple. Where does that
much light come from? The logical source is not visible, not at least
to my eyes. I wonder, how come a sky with that intense colors doesn't
shed more (reddish?) light to illuminate the non-spotlighted areas of
the scene.

Nice image anyway, and especially the foreground looks intriguing.

I like the use of color and lighting in this picture. The
front columns are nicely detailed and well-textured. It
doesn't seem to have as much of a crumbling look as I
would have expected, however. Very good picture
overall, though.

Very dramatic colors. Well modelled. Unfortunately
doesn't really tell the story, Too generic.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
Some nice modelling here, but those textures need a lot of work. Have a
play with the procedural textures in POV, it's not to difficult to get
something that looks good. The early chapters of the POV documentation
give you an easy to follow outline of things like layered textures and
adding bumpiness etc.
