Good modeling & colors. The fish looks a bit plastic.

From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
Excellent entry. The water behaves a bit strange, but that is always a very
difficult thing to raytrace. The fish is magnificently done.

Nice work. Some areas that could use improvement are the tail and bottom fin.

Leapin'lizards..breakfast! Very clean picture and an exciting frozen moment for
any fisherman!

Now that looks like one good time. I guess we know what's for dinner!

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:

Somehow the image looks rather "flat", although the individual modelling seems
to be done rather well. The splashing water looks a little "blobbier" than real
water.

From david.madore@ens.fr:
Quite impressive and fairly well rendered. The instant is well captured.

Nice pic. I think the lilies look like they are above the water instead of on
the water.

From clem@dhol.org:
Very nice modelling. I see you remembered gill flaps.
Good splash. I like the lily pads, but they seem a bit too
solid, as if they were mossy rocks. The water seems too
dull and dark given the lighting on the fish.

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
Excellent work modelling the fish! The splash also looks
very good, although it does seems to "solid" to me in the
sense that there are too many particles.

Great fish.

From slone@hiwaay.net:
Exciting image with a lot of action. The fish looks a little plastic,
but so do real fish somewhat.

From noe.falzon@tiscali.fr:
This is amazingly realistic. Good work !

Very nice. It's great that you even included the weeds under the water.
