THe grass looks pretty good. THe sword looks WAY too big though, compared to the
tree. And I really dont "get" what this is about...

From rgow@lanset.com:
Good modeling & grass. Scene needs more to it though, because even with your
description I am not entirely sure how it fits the topic.

From thegreatbambeeno@yahoo.com:
you have a cylinder for a tree. WHAT IS THAT???? i dont know. bad image.

From hildurka@simnet.is:

The light does suggest dawn. The overall feel is quiet and still. But there are
technical issues. The grass lookes strange, like it_s moving, but the colors
and textures on the contrary look great. I think this might be a problem with
aliasing. Rendering in a bigger format and downsampling might solve this. Great
work.

Nice image, quite mysterious too. PB

I know the tale of a sword thrust into a stone... but into
gras?

From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com:

Few elements in the scene, though that certainly does not judge on weather your
scene is great or not. I think in the current setup it would be strongly
needed to improve the detail (sword/tree/grass). I know there are lots of
limits in Blender, but you can still push it farther than this. Hope to see
more work from you in the future and keep at it.

From zio_tom78@hotmail.com:
It has mistery in it, sure! Perhaps too much... The grass is very good, as well
as the wood texture used for the tree.

=====
From p_chan@shaw.ca:
The grass seems to me to lack depth (i.e. it looks like a
flat texture), but this is probably an effect of the camera
angle. Perhaps the glint of sunrise on the sword's blade
would help to convey the feeling of dawn.

=====
From emediez@emediez.com:

Nice angle. I think it needs more elements to convey the description.

From glenn@mccarters.net:
Somehow it seems to be more like sunset than dawn. Maybe it's the warm =
gold light.
The grass is really good but it seems to be in motion in some areas. =
Also seems mossy.

This would be greatly improved by a definite and sensible focus - work on
composition. I can't distinguish the footprints, and the "fog" confuses the
grass. You need to add items of interest for the viewer, and draw out the sense
of mystery in the picture. Consider it a work in progess, and go fix it. :)
