===== From jon@vulpecula.us: Very clever idea. I love the shadow. Lighting needs work though...the TV should cast a glow over everything. That would have helped a lot. ===== From rgow@lanset.com: It is quite dark on my monitor... Good job with the shadows on the wall, very effective. The items on the board, while well done, don't seem to say anything. The ashtray is distracting. ===== From thegreatbambeeno@yahoo.com: real mystery comes from this one. great job ===== From hildurka@simnet.is: This scene could do with more contrast and it is difficult to make out the background. But the concept is good. ===== From pbrasolin@yahoo.it: Really good picture, with some nice details. I'm quite impressed. PB ===== From ralf@treuherz.de: Interesting that two people got the same idea ... I like this one better. The image is indeed too dark and the most interesting part (the shadows) are too small. ===== From info@michaelscholz.de: Ah, I get it ;-) Good concept. ===== From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com: I was not sure where the mystery was, till I saw the shadows on the wall. The reason as to why your image is too dark on other systems is because your brightness/contrast settings are way off scale. I would suggest you do some reading up on at least the basics of monitor calibration, as a Maya user who doesn_t have a firm concept of this is quite embarrassing for your reputation if you plan to go in the industry. ===== From zio_tom78@hotmail.com: Good board texture. The shadows on the background are a nice touch. Perhaps the image is a bit too dark, but I bet you already heard this :-) ===== From p_chan@shaw.ca: The shadows do an excellent job of enhancing the mood of the scene. The grime effect on the board looks very good. I feel the camera is tilted a bit too much, as it is initially somewhat hard to get ones bearings around the room. ===== From glenn@mccarters.net: This is my favorite of the "board game" images. The guy's arm looks like it's cut off: no hand, just a stump! ===== From file: Very cool idea. I like the worn look on the board. Notable for modelling, textures
