TITLE: It Came From the Fridge COUNTRY: USA TOOLS USED: Cinema 4D XL, Adobe Photodeluxe 2.0 (only for the labels on the milk and ketchup done during production and added as a texture so I believ ethat is legal use of photo software) RENDERER USED: Cinema 4D XL RENDER TIME: 27 secs IMAGE DESCRIPTION: This is my first ever image, so go easy on me. "It Came from the Fridge" Actually got this idea after discovering a bowl of foil covered baked beans in my on fridge that had since turned to one soild lump of a gooey gel (I know, that's gross, I swear I usually keep my fridge cleaned out better than that). Needless to say I threw the whole thing away, bowl and everything, but had I left it in there one more day it may have looked like this!! DESCRIPTION OF HOW IMAGE WAS CREATED: Ok, not sure exactly how detailed I should be here or exactly what people want to know but I'll do my best. Milk Carton: simply seven primitives: 2 polygons and 4 cubes. Bottles: modeled after SKYY Blues (my drink of choice), I used Loft NURBS to make the outside and inside of the bottles and another Loft NURBS for the bottle cap. Ketchup: Loft NURBS for the whole bottle. Grate: Series of cylinder primitives surrounded by a rectanglular Sweeps NURBS object. Arm: Bent cylindars with a deformed cube for the palm. Aluminum Foil: I had some trouble with this part. ultimately I ended up using a Loft NURBS for the foils basic shape then cranking the bumpiness of the texture and just tried to make it very shiny and moderatly reflective. Where the foil is ripped open at the top, I used 4 triangular polygons that were bent and contorted. Labels: I made the labels for the ketchup and milk in photodeluxe and applied them as textures onto the containers.
