Very good for a first "outside the box" POV-Ray image!

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:
A very nice image. The dof provides a focus to the image and the textures seem fairly realistic. Nicely done.

Good modelling & texturing! The table looks like I remember. (Here in the US the game is called Foozball) Some background would be nice, but the image works as is.

From jacoons@ameritech.net:
Points for realism. I would have suggested putting something in the background
instead of leaving it plain.

congratulations, it is a good begining. I didn't started to use blurring until a year before a learnt to use povray

Very nice modeling.
I'm afraid of dangerous play due to the traversal of the rods.

From jouni@mikrobitti.fi:
Not bad at all for a beginner :-) Surprisingly well done with the perspective. Composition-wise, some more work on the background and the football field would've made the image more alive. Also, I think you slightly overdid the highlights on the green as well as the focal blur. Cheers, and looking forward to your next entry!

Notable for scene composition and lightning.

If this is your first after RSOCP then I'm really looking forward to your future work. Technically sound picture.

From bertram.henze@t-online.de:
I often wonder if focal blur is a good camouflage for too simplistic textures - as if we just assume there is dust and dirt when we cannot see it. Or if focal blur is a substitute for realism just because we are used to accept photographic attributes as part of reality.
